TalOrg is the home of a freelance developer, working on various software and hardware projects. We also do computer preservation work by collecting old and new computers, just about anything from 8-bit home computers to 64-bit servers.
You can follow site information on Mastodon and also the site author on Mastodon, YouTube.
Software and hardware projects
We work on various software projects (C++, Qt, QML, PHP, etc), mostly for the more obscure mobile platforms (SailfishOS and BlackBerry 10) and also on embedded platforms like the Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone , Arduino (AVR) and TI Laucnhpads (MSP430).
Tutorials
Various tutorials on various subjects. Some have been written previously on the authors blog.
Computer collection
Our current collection is relatively small, only about 130 computers and related devices, from various 8-bit Commodores to Macs, SGI workstations and Sun servers, Playstations and smartphones.
Warehouse resources where a bit limited for a while so the collection didn't grow very fast as there where no place to put them anymore. Luckily that changed in the autumn of 2014 when we moved to a larger house with a dedicated room with plenty of storage space, hopefully the collection will start to grow again.
Stay tuned for a more detaild pages about the collection, for now you can look at the list below:
