I'm in a need to test Blueooth LE beacon functionality on both desktop and tiny Linux systems (Raspberry Pi mostly). Looking around there where a lot of shell scripts or python scripts, that just run hcitool and hciconfig to do the actualy work.

A small update to RetroPlayer is under way that will fix a random crashing bug when loading song files. I was about the release it earlier but there where issues with getting new Debug Tokens under Christmas period so development halted for a while.

Merry Christmas!

My port of Maelstrom for both the Playbook and BlackBerry 10 is now free in BlackBerry World. Enjoy!

Various Raspberry Pi related tutorials has been updated and fixed. There is now a new tutorial for building Qt on Raspbian Stretch, a QtQuick example and various updates to the 64-bit tools and kernel build tutorials.

A new release of Onki for BlackBerry 10 was released today with major remote godness. Now you can access DVD/BD, TV and Dock devices directly from the app. Also access to setup screen navigation is now available.

Release early, release often, right ? Anyway, a small update that fixes a possible crash on Equalizer changes, proper SID title and some other minor fixes should soon be available.

A update to RetroPlayer is now available on BlackBerry World. This updates fixes audio routing so that playback to bluetooth devices works as intended. It also adds a basic favorites feature for quick access to your favorite tunes (a proper playlist system is planned for future versions).

With RetroPlayer you can listen to classic computer tunes from the 1980's & 1990's, including Commdore 64 music, Atari XL and Amiga & PC tracker modules. The first version is now available for download in BlackBerry World.

Send the initial relase to BlackBerry World. It is pretty basic at the moment but you can play pretty much all tracker formats, C64 SID files and Atari SAP files. I have plans for much more functionality but for now this will do nicely.

Not much, but the artist image display depends on Nokia Mix Radio API so it will stop working in the near future I'am afraid.

Two Onki releases ? Yes, that is right.
